Do you think someone else in the neighborhood has her or is feeding her? Have you put up any flyers asking about her? I know it feels awful to not know where your cat is.

How pregnant is your cat?  Could she have delivered her kittens somewhere outside your home?

Hi. Sarthur 2 , i don't really think so. But usually she goes out and comes back home within 2 to 4 hours. Actually she is a stray cat but she lives with us for the past 2 years. She usually comes back home after her delivery to eat. But not this time. And I actually don't know if she is ready to give birth. Her last kittens was born on the 9th of April.

How far along did she appear when you saw her last? Cats can go into heat again and get pregnant shortly after giving birth, particularly when they are living outdoors as strays.

I want to suggest that your cat may have had her kittens in someone's garage, or be inadvertantly trapped in a garage. You won't know unless you go out and knock on doors and ask people to please check their garages and sheds.

Also, try leaving food on your porch for your cat at night.

Do you have any predators in the neighborhood like coyotes?

If not, I would not give up. Someone else may be caring for her, but you really need to put signs up and knock on doors and put food out.

I got a positive feedback from my neighbourhood saying that they saw her and they can also hear her calling her kittens on the roof. Hope she is safe. Only thing that is bothering me, why is she not coming back home? She used to always be back home for food.

Clearly something spooked her when it was time for her to have her kittens, so she had them elsewhere. She must be getting food from somewhere, but maybe not enough.

Can you ask your neighbor to get a ladder and you guys look on the roof for the kittens? They may be in a gutter, which is not safe if it rains. Or maybe they are in the bushes at this neighbor's house. You need to try to locate them now that you know she is around.

If you find them, you need to have a box ready to put them in and bring mama and babies back to your house.

Let us know how it goes. Good luck! :)

Oh no. I pray you find her and her kittens. Do you think after this litter you could take her to a clinic and have her spayed? I know most locations have programs that will do it for $30-$50 dollars. I have had a similar situation with a stray that showed up at my house and we waited a bit too long and found out she was pregnant. I sure do hope you are able to find her and help her with her kittens.

Good idea to see if the neighbours can check where the kittens are and how safe it is.

Also, if they are reasonably near could you try leaving some food out for her?  When she feels safe she might choose to move the kittens nearer to you.

I hope you can find out how they all are and that they are safe.
