Cat food for Cody

Does anyone know of some good brands of canned cat food for a cat that had a blockage due to cyrstals. i have been giving Cody Friskies Special Diet chicken and gravy and a few other kinds. He seems to being well going to the bathroom normal. They are going to discountinue this brand of food and he will not eat any of the Vet food witch is awfull anyway any help would be appreciated.  

IMO you don't really need a urinary tract specific formula. Any canned food will help The key is to get more water into the cat.

Look for non-seafood based grain-free canned foods. Seafood is ok once in awhile, just not every day. There are many suitable brands to feed: regular Friskies, Blue Buffalo, Merrick, Nutro, Nature's Variety Instinct, etc. You can search the Nutrition forum for posts about non-prescription canned foods for urinary issues. It is grain free and low carb ..

Thanks I have been giving him all canned so far different varieties and he seems to be going potty normally
