We are researching into bringing the cats to NZ, which may be soon (fingers crossed)
Anyways, the cats have to be tested and vaccinated for:

feline panleukopenia (enteritis),
feline rhinotracheitis and
feline calicivirus;
Could someone explain what they are?

Thanks in advance!

Feline Panleukopenia is feline distemper, Feline Rhinotracheitis is a respiratory disease, and Feline Calicivirus is a serious respiratory infection.
I am surprised they are required to be tested for these, but generally they do require a current vaccination.

I think its probably to make sure they don't spread to other cats. They also have to be tested for the rabies antibody to be sure they have had the vaccine because NZ is rabies free.
