I really need help which is why i joined...my 7 yr old cat was on antibiotics...she also had anesthesia to have a few teeth pulled out and when she started not being able to swallow at this time we also found out she had a huge mass of hair in her stomach which had to be surgically removed...when the internist tried to remove the hair with an edoscope is when we found out about the stricture...no one is sure what exactly caused it.
Right now she is recovering from the abdominal surgery to remove the hair mass.
I was hoping someone else here has had this issue or the balloon dilation that is usually the treatment choice for this.
Please do not send me links on this as i have been up 24/7 the last 10 days researching this.
I would just like personal experiences as i am a total mess at this point.
