Hello, I also posted here about the 5 kittens we found a while back. Just now, our adult cat Cosmo( about 14 years old) had diarrhea( very runny, no blood) and we think it's from the Purina Whisker Lickin' cat treats we gave him. I hope that's the case, I wouldn't want it to be more serious he's such a sweet cat. We stopped giving him the treats and I was wondering if I should put some Pedialyte in his water to help out with electrolytes? Should we change his diet too? Any help is appreciated.

I wouldn't give Pedialyte or anything without the advice of a vet. I suggest that you take your senior cat to the vet for a check up. It may have been the treats that upset your cat's tummy or there may be something else going on and the giving treats was a conincidence. Stick with the same diet for now. If your cat is doing fine on it theren's no reason to change it and potentially cause an upset tummy and more diarrhea.

Alright. I'm just gonna keep him hydrated until it passes. If something happens I'll take him into the vet. Hopefully that won't be the case. It's weird because he hadn't had diarrhea this bad until we gave him the treats. :/

Look at what's in those treats, omg. If you want to give any treats at all, please only give the good ones, the Liv A Little Chicken Breasts by Halo.

We do not subscribe to feeding any cats or dogs, soy, gluten, corn, or wheat, or any combinations of those ingredients and only feed wet food here,

Classic pates with added filtered water.

One of the best dry foods for both dogs and cats is 4 Health if wet food is not an option for outdoor colonies.
