I joined this site for advice last year around this time, but I remembered I'd joined it today and decided to come back! I'd never posted an introduction post, so I thought I would, I hope that's alright!
I'm Jules, and my boyfriend and I have two lovely babies. Baldr is a flamepoint who is a little over a year old, and Loki is 3 years old and black, though he looks rusty in sunlight and under his top coat.
I work in a comic and used book store, and my boyfriend works from home taking art commissions. We have a quiet little life, but we are very happy with our cats.
We used to have a third roommate, and we enjoyed living with her, but she bought a shiba inu puppy last year, and he became a holy terror. He would constantly bully poor Baldr (to the point that Baldr would pee in one specific corner about once a week), and he chewed up a lot of their toys. We were pretty glad when our lease came up and she wanted to get her own place.
Since she moved away with her dog earlier this month, both of our cats snuggly personalities have returned. Baldr was becoming pretty anti-social because of Hiro. We only just moved into a new apartment on Tuesday of this week, and it was hectic for our poor cats, but they've handled it well. Now they're more clingy than ever, but we don't complain.
Eventually, we hope to adopt an orange tabby, or just an orange cat and name it Thor so we can have a Norse trio, but for now our little duo is plenty for us!
This is Baldr! Unfortunately I don't have a picture of Loki at the moment, but I will update this later and add one.
