My cat got in a fight with a stray & it was his first approach with another cat. He didn't get scrashed or anything. But he hasn't been eating since. I took him to the vet, he gave him vitamins or so he says. And my cat still wont eat & is tooo lazy he doesn't even come to me anymore. Im going to die[emoji]128532[/emoji]plz help

It sounds like he's stressed and maybe a little traumatised from his encounter, rather than lazy. Bach's Rescue Remedy might be worth a try to help him move past this incident. Feliway diffusers throughout the house may help too.

With food, it's really important to get him eating - especially if he's refusing to eat anything at all. If he won't touch cat food, try plainly cooked meats or even meat only baby food (just check the label to see that it doesn't contain onions or garlic). If cats go without food for to long they can get really ill, so getting some calories into him has to be a priority.

Try to stay calm yourself, and keep his routine as normal as possible. He needs the familiar right now, and he needs you to reassure him that everything's ok.

He will get through this. Stay strong for him :vibes:

Did the vet really check him all over.  My kitty had a fight with my TNR girl & was very tired & slow for two days.  I could not see anything (medium hair) so I took him to the vet.  Huge infection in his ear; drained & antibiotics did the trick & he was better the next day.  The vet showed me she had bitten him 5 times.

I guess you better bring your feline to another vet, just in case your feline wasn't bitten. Let's just rule out all the medical issues. Do a blood test if needed.

Trauma could cause the following symptoms. Try to calm yourself down as that will help to calm the cat down as the cat is receiving all the anxious energy from you. Use Feliway as that can help to calm your cat down and faster. Try to play with your cat and make some delicious food to stimulate it's appetite. Use B12 Vitamin might help you stimulate it's appetite too.

A friend of mine had a cat not eating, it came after moving. Her cat used to love fish but in a sachet but she started to get some fresh cod cheeks and tongues and cooked them in small amount of water and made up small pkts of it for each day. But with cooking it the house smelled of it but it was the smell that got him eating as he couldn't resist it. Afterwards she got the windows open everywhere but the kitchen were Toby was.

It might work for you,

Jilly
