I am looking for something that is safe for my cats.  Something is eating my catnip, (no its not the cats), I haven't seen any kind of bugs on it, but I have noticed that the leaves are being consumed by "something"  How can I kill them???? without harming my cats when they eat it?

I have my catnip in a hanging basket and have ot had trouble with bugs.  Yu might try doing that.  It's probably just some bug or caterpillar that climbs up it.  If it's planted in the diret outside for outside cats, then I wouldn't worry about it.  In fact, it could be visiting outside cats that area eating it.  Mine is hung because otherwise my own indoor-outdoor crew will eat it down to the roots and kill it off.

@QTIP  can you maybe post pictures of the leaves? The mysterious bug may leave some marks behind? It could also be a plant disease and not a bug and it could be fairly local.
