Hi everyone :wavey:

Yesterday we had the hottest day of the year so far here in the UK. It reached 33 degrees, which doesn't happen very often here in the UK :lol3:

Today has been warm but overcast and tonight its forecast thunderstorms :storm:

So today's question is.......

What the weather like where you are ?

It's gray and cool here.  We have had highs in the 70's F all week with rain during the night and morning.  All but one day though it has cleared off in the afternoon, sunny but cool for this time of year.  We have only had a few days in the 90's F this year.  If this continues it will be the third mild summer in a row.

Yep. I couldn't believe it when I saw it. A symptom of global warming, I think
that could be! whenever there's a sudden change with temperatures and/or extreme (and unusual for the season) temperatures, i always watch for weather like pop-up thunderstorms or (like you experienced) hail or similar. it's just 'unstable' -- weather, or conditions.

well, it's cooling off quite a bit here now. the low tonight is forecast to get down to 50 degrees F, but it could easily slip into the upper 40's here. i'm looking forward to turning on my heated mattress pad tonight.

It's a little coolish this morning. Right now, it's about 6:40 a.m. and we're around 59 F, after a low of around 53 F or so during the night....it was good sleeping weather. The sun is out and it's to be a fairly sunny day today.

Summer is here which means it's hot every day and humid and will get hotter and humider as the months go on. I'm very uncomfortable.

Overcast all day, still hot and humid, some rain. Still reeling in shock from last night's massive hailstorm http://www.independent.co.uk/news/u...s-of-ice-on-hottest-day-of-year-10361146.html
We escaped any damage, but the noise was unbelievable - I honestly thought it had broken some roof tiles! Hoping we don't get more of the same tonight :cross:
Wow!!

It's like the weather is flip flopped! 22 Celsius (72 f) here right now. It's usually hot with lots of thunderstorms.

Most of the last 3 summers have been like the summers that I remember when I was stationed in Germany.  I have had my air conditioning turned off and the windows open for about a week and half now.  There were a couple  of evenings that I closed the windows before I went to bed because it was actually a little chilly.  I don't know if it's different now but in the late 70's early 80's most people in Germany anyway didn't have air conditioning because they didn't need it.
