So I guess I should get the hardest part out first, I'm allergic to most cats and have been for most of my life. When I first got my cat, I was very happy to notice that I didn't react to him like I normally do to cats (My skin get irritated) and luckily got to keep him. I had thought thy my allergy had left because of this, but it turned out I was wrong when I rescued another kitten (this one was abandoned by his owner) and my allergic reaction returned. Oh well, at least I still have one cat I can cuddle with.

And now for the important part, my cats (well, cat and kittens) the first cat is my beloved Dimitri. First and foremost, his best friend is a rabbit (named Midnight) he was a feral kitten that was abandoned by his mother and I have turned him into the biggest and cuddliest indoor cat you'll ever meet. My guess as to the reason behind him being abandoned is probably because he's a runt and cross-eyed. As to why I don't react to him like I do every of her cat...I'll never know and don't really care to know. All I care about is that I'm not allergic to my best friend.

Then there are the kittens I have saved from owners that kicked then out to the street, one of which I have found a new home for.

That is a current picture of Pumpkin sent to me from his new owner. He has a habit of sticking his tongue out and suckling of fluffy things. (I'm not sharing any pictures from when I first found him because he was just too skinny) He currently has five cat friends and get friendlier and funnier by the day.
Then there are these two

They are Kiki and Jiji. They are brother and sister (also abandoned by previous owner) and currently still with me. Sadly I can't play with them as much as I would like to because of my allergy but luckily my cat and rabbit duo have no problem picking up my slack. I wish I could share a picture of them all playing but they're just too energetic for me to able to get a descent picture of all of them playing together.
Hopefully I can make a few friends on here and get some much needed insight on a few things cat related.

Welcome to the forum! :)

You have very nice-looking cats! Rabbit too!

Very kind of you to save abandoned cats! Detest when folks put them out. Many people on this forum have welcomed rescues into their homes to enjoy a safe and loving environment.

I have the safe part covered for the two black kittens, but sadly I can't do a lot for the loving because of my allergy to them. My mom is nice to the kittens, but my grandma hates them (strangely enough she likes Dimitri) so they don't get the all the attention and love they deserve and need. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to keep one of them as a playmate for my cat so I can finally adopt out the rabbit that will one day send me to the hospital because of my severe allergy to him. the reason I keep him though is because my cat loves him and protects him from my do. He even goes so far as to allow the rabbit to sleep in his cat bed.

That is the two of them curled up sleeping in the cats bed. He hasn't allowed any of the kittens I've rescued to go anywhere near that bed.

Sounds like your cat would be devastated if you sent your bunny to live in a new home. Do you use an inhaler?

I used to have bronchitis so I used to be on the inhaler (and several other treatments) but I had attacks so often and bad that I soon grew immune to most of them. The few that I haven't built an immunity towards I'm allergic to. But luckily I got better shortly after my immunity built up for my last medicine. But that's okay because I know what I need to do to avoid a severe allergic reaction. I just keep him away from my face and I'm usually fine. Occasionally I slip up and I have slight breathing problems but nothing a few glasses of water and some fresh air can't fix.

Welcome to TCS. Your cat and rabbit are adorable together! Sorry about your allergies. I wonder if allergy shots might be a good option. My dad had them for years and his allergy to cats and dogs is almost gone now. I'm not sure it works the safe for skin reactions though.

Tempting but sadly I'm afraid I might not be able to afford them. And because it's just a skin irritation it's easy for me to avoid by simply making sure that the cats don't stay in contact with my skin for too long. That, and since I'm not allergic to my cat and plan on adopting out the kittens then I don't see much of a reason to do it. It also helps me avoid getting too attached to the kittens so it'll make it easier on me when they finally do leave.

talking of strange friends; With BittyBoo it was a Magpie. Bit allowed the bird we named Wingy because he had a broken one and couldn't fly very well. to eat from his bowl walked around shoulder to shoulder and not a tad of aggression from either animal. When it  first started the Maggie would roost on the headrest of a chair but, as their 'friendship developed the bird would just sink down feathers to fur next to the sleeping cat,
