Hey guys I've got a cat named cheetah. We noticed three days ago she had a runny nose and eyes and wasn't eating as much as usual...she has always been tiny and the runt. We took her to the vet this morning because the discharge became bloody. They gave us a prescription gel for the eye and amoxicillin for the virus itself. She only weighed 5.8 pounds :(( when they weighed her. Im worried because I heated up food for her and she didn't eat much of it even though it was smelly...she has been drinking small amounts of milk but little to no water...although the wet food may hydrate her. She had a 104 fever so im worried to take her in the shower to steam her mucus out..ughh so worried

Did you give her the antibiotic the veterinarian has prescribed?

You can always try fish antibiotic if you have not doctor's prescription

My kitten is sneezing also and I have been giving her antibiotic and pain reliever; she had a spay surgery

She is not eating so I feed her with eye drop about 1/3 tbsp

She seems active after I fed her with condense milk diluted in water

Try using a eye drop syringe

Your kitten is bigger than my kitten

Your kitten should be fed about three times a day

However if she is sick you should feed her more for nutrients

When their noses are stuffed up, they tend not to eat because they can't really smell the food.  That's why warming it up usually helps
, and the stinkier the food the better.    But with a fever I'm guessing she just doesn't feel well in general.  I don't know why just because she's running a fever, though, that you are hesitant to put her in the bathroom to try to help steam the mucus.  You don't actually put her in the shower though.  Just put her in the bathroom where the steam is accumulating.  Do this a couple of times a day.  If you have a humidifier, you can run this too.

Are you managing ok giving her the antibiotics.  This is critical that she get them.
