I recently came into the possession of a kitten. I work at a feed store and someone found her out back in the hay yard. The vet estimates her to be 4-5 weeks old and said she's female. I've got her currently eating royal canin recovery wet food. A prescription diet from the vet. I have yet to see her drink any water though. She's very active and wanders around the house all day. The issues I'm having with her are that she cries constantly and she has yet to poop. She has no problem going pee on her own, but that's it so far. Any help would be greatly appreciated

As she's so young, she really needs KMR alongside her kitten food. Full fat goat's milk, raw if possible, is a good substitute though.

It's no big deal that she's not really drinking if she's on a 100% wet diet - cats are designed to get around 80 % of their fluid intake from their food anyway, so her not drinking much is simply an indication that her diet is keeping her well hydrated.

With pooping, she may still need you to help her with that. If she was with her mom, mim would lick her bum after meals to stimulate pooping. You can simulate this by gently tapping/stroking her bum with a warm, damp washcloth - think in terms of a cat's licking motion.

The crying will be because she's missing her mom and littermates. She may be comforted by being carried around held close to you. A kitten sized soft toy to snuggle up to may also help, as will a kitten safe heat pad - also important to keep her warm as at this age she's less able to regulate her own body temperature. A ticking clock wrapped in something soft with simulate her mom's heartbeat and may be comforting too.

She finally went potty. I'll definitely pick up some KMR to mix with the wet food. I have a small bean bag for her that I warm up and place in her bed with her. She has a covered fuzzy bed that's like a den. She's quiet th there, but if she's outside her little bed/den. She cries and constantly looks for a small dark space to hide. Could this be from her being born and spending the first four-five weeks of her life outside?

She's lonely. Another kitten close to her age would help!

How often are you feeding her? She needs to eat 6-8 times a day right now. Are you sure she's not crying from hunger? Otherwise, she is crying because she's a baby and wants her mom. She either got separated or dumped. She needs comforting. :)

I feed her as soon as she wakes up from a nap and I let her eat until she is full and won't eat anymore. So she eats probably every three hours. Sometimes every four. But she seems to be hungriest whenever she first wakes up.
