I bought a can of Evangers at my local pet store because the ingredients looked decent and I wanted to see what my cat thought of it. 

He seemed to really like it. 

It is affordable, but once I researched a little bit, the company seems a little bit questionable. Does anyone have an opinion or experience with this food one way or another? Particularly the  chicken lickin one.

I have heard some questionable things about Evangers as a company but I think it has been resolved . I do think the food is good though . If my cats would eat it I would feed it ..

I can't really tell either.  Many people seem to be avoiding them based on the past problems, but it's always possible they have resolved them.  For some that does not matter though and they will avoid them forever.  Keep in mind Evanger's also cans some other brands that don't do their own.  I'm not sure what the current list is, and I don't want to name possibilities and get them wrong.
