My wife and I spend most of the day at a local homeless shelter as I deep fried all of their turkeys for Christmas dinner, my Wife was there to provide me with the proper levels of support and Wifely supervision.
I promised that I would get my wife something to eat afterward, foolish of me to think that she'd want anything I was cooking!
We finished early and I dropped by my friend with Cat Rescue to drop off our gifts to her. As it happened, Lynda and Steve were having a small Christmas get-together and we were warmly welcomed, Kim got something to eat and I got to chat with some nice people.
I told Lynda on several different occasions that if I ever brought my wife over, Lynda would be minus one kitten because my wife would fall in love with one-Gurrantoled!
Sure as my word, Kim met and fell in love with a tiny gray and white tabby boy kitten we named Bari who was rescued from the Virginia Beach Pound, too young for the pound to adopt out so we all know what THAT means. Lynda was confident that she was getting "her" kitten a good home, so she allowed us to take him home.
We'll see a Vet for the proper care in the morning.
So we have welcomed a FOURTH cat into our home on Christmas day, he's an adorable little boy who fell in love with my Wife as soon as he saw her and she with him.
My question to all of my fellow cat lovers is:
Was I wrong for thinking the New Orleans Saints would make it to the play-offs?
The cat? I knew my Wife was going to get another cat, the only question was WHICH cat! Like, Duuuuh, Fester!
