She won't let  me leave her sight! She sitting outside of my bedroom's doorway on a blanket just looking at me. She keeps looking at the wall like she's watching something move but nothing's there and then just looks at me again. This is honestly the most still I've seen her all day. I know she's uncomfortable since she'll go about 15 laying her side breathing heavy and fast with her sides rippling. Nothing new besides her behavior and she's usually gravitating towards her nesting area more. Sorry I haven't been on earlier, I had class.. I didn't wanna leave her at all... /:

Are her sides rippling steadily?

And you needed to go to your class - it's okay!

When it's happening, yes, it's a steady rhythm but then it just stops. Totally frustrating. /:

She may be in pre-labor. It's rippling that goes on - off and on - for hours. It is eventually followed by hard labor.

She's been doing this for a couple of days. Ever since the 27th when her belly dropped. That's why I'm a bit worried but this is her first so I know it tends to go on longer than most others would.

If she's not in distress the rule of thumb is to wait. She's not bleeding, or crying, or pushing with no success, right? So her body is doing its thing to get her closer to the big event.

Heavy, fast breathing again. She's on her side. I''ll take a picture if I can.

She lays like this alot and loves for me to massage her belly when her sides are rippling. She's just resting right now which is good.

Poor kitty. She's so uncomfortable. Ready for it to happen and be over with.

Is there a chance that tonight may be the time? I also forgot to mention that about two hours ago, she was going kinda bezerk and running around the living room to all these weird places like behind the drum set, behind the pantry, under the couch. She did that just before her belly dropped on the 27th. She's also been really wary of my mom and only lets me touch her. She's been less vocal today but when she does meow, it sounds strained.

There is that chance. Is there dilation of her vulva or discharge?

She won't really let me check so the only thing I've been able to go on is her behavior and breathing. Is there any way for me to send video so you can see how she's breathing?

Try to upload it with the same icon as for a picture. I don't know any other way except a youtube link. In the meantime, can you describe the breathing a bit more?

Right now, she's laying flat on her side- off of the pillow. Her sides literally look like waves going along with her breathing. It looks like she's breathing heavy and also fast. After around a minute, it will sow down and she'll breathe deeper but then it'll pick back up again. She's been going through this off and on for a couple of days.

We're listening to Людмила Сенчина. She always seems to like her voice. She's purring really quietly.

Well, she's been in pre-labor for sure. She is probably having contractions when she ripples and pants. At some point she will begin pushing and birth a kitten. I just can't tell you when since I'm not there. Is it more now than earlier today?

The calming music is a good idea!
