Basic colour-block- type calico on her belly with tortiseshell on her back. She has 2 orange legs on her left side and 2 black legs on her right. Orange blotch on her nose and another orange swirl on her forehead where she lovevs to get kisses. Hard to believe she was once pretty much feral she's the best cat ever.  :D

Update: So Granola still hasn't popped yet and is still relaxing on my bed with her tail flicking a little. I've noticed her anus is a tad swollen but she's not showig any signs of distress. I've read into it just now and it seems this is yet another sign of imminent labour. She doesn't have diarrhea, either. Looking at her right now, her breating's still pretty heavy and has picked up in pace but not at al alarming one. All in all, I think she's fine but I would like some second opinions. I'm getting her spayed and de-wormed once it is safe to do so. Thank you all so much.

Thanks to the both of you! Nothing yet, though. /: Is there a chance she'd be holding out for some reason? I'm not even sure if that's possible but I still wonder...

I doubt it. Mother Nature will start contractions when it's time.

UPDATE: She's asleep (I think) but panting with her mouth open and her sides are twitchy. Either this is it or she's having the weirdest dream ever. Annnnnd she just went back to normal. What even is happening... She'll seem like something is about to happen and just stop. Only time will tell, I suppose...

She just ate some food, is thoroughly grooming herself, and looking tubby. She went into the nesting place she seems to like the most for a minute or two as well. :D

That's good. It seems like forever just wait for her to have kittens, that's how I felt. Lol

I believe this may be it. She was laying on her side, flicking her tail, breathing hard and heavy and quite fast. More so than earlier. Assuming these are the early stages of labour, I noticed one quite large contraction that made her cry a little. It broke my heart. /: Right now, she's eating food and grooming herself- normal stuff. The lights are off and the temperature is adjusted.  I'm gonna try and be ready for may or may not be coming. What does it sound like is coming? She's definitely hit the big time now, right?

It certainly sounds like she is having contractions!

Are they still coming?

She went back to slower but still heavy breathing like how she was earlier today. She's resting now. I just don't understand how and why it keeps seeming like something's happening then just stops... this is nerve-wracking.

It IS nerve-wracking!

A little pre-labor pains maybe.

Just keep watching her and keep us updated.

Even still, nothing's really happened... I know just at any time, she'll have popped but it's just not happening soon enough! I wouldn't be so flustered if she wasn't sometimes showing signs and then just stop out of the blue. Either way, I'm with her through all of this and doing what I can to keep her as happy as possible. She's also been nesting a lot more today.

For definite! She's going to be a great mum. Back when I was watching some cat birthing videos (so I'd know just what to expect) and a kitten would be born and crying, Granola would think it was me and try to comfort me. She's the best :'D

UPDATE:Well she ate a little and then went into the nesting place and just sat there for a minute then came out and joined me on the bed. I can't remember if I already mentioned this but when the kittens dropped, she demanded to go through this on my bed. Not really sure what that means for the active labour since she's going in between the nesting place and my bed. I'm probably still going to have to wait another 40 million forevers... She's obviously tired and her heavy, fast breathing has kicked up again. I'm reading The Portable Jack Kerouac to her. I'd like to think that maybe something's about to happen but I'm not holding my breath on account of how everything's been lately. Still the best kitty ever.
