When I found Artemis, I never expected to love her so much. It may be a bit of a shock to hear that I'd never really been a cat OR dog person. The idea just never came to light. But my son, bless him, begged me to keep her when I took her and her brothers to the shelter. And so we did. And I've never loved a cat more. Not but a month ago my girl gave birth at my feet. Did I mention I wasn't a cat person? I claim ignorance but I helped her as best I could to be comfortable. She had one kitten. He looked something like a small not so furry hamster but he was precious all the same. He soon stole our hearts and became to known as simply "Cow" for his rotund belly and specific markings, and my son having just seen the movie Home might have something to do with him having a farm animals name. He grew and grew and flourished and became the adorable little fluff ball he was. He was becoming a huge part of the family. I'm so very sorry I couldn't do more to save you and so very heartbroken that you went so suddenly. I'm proud to have been your guardian and second mom. I'm glad I was there to comfort you and keep you warm in your final moments. We'll never forget you.

I'm so very sorry for your loss, they have a way of worming their way into our hearts and becoming a huge part of our lives whether we want to or not. You don't have to be a 'cat person' to have a loving heart, the saying goes " they are not our whole lives, but they make our lives whole." Please accept my condolences on the loss to your family, little 'Cow' was an important part of you and your son's life and will be sorely missed. Please let your precious memories comfort you, and may you be blessed for showing that sweet baby love and giving him a home full of caring and devotion. RIP sweet Cow, I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers and wish you safely to the Rainbow Bridge!

I'm so sorry for your loss of Cow. His life was much too short, but it was full of love and care. RIP, little one

Awww, what cute pictures of Cow, especially the one with squeenchy eyes and footsies!  That was precious!  I have a kitty Oreo who looks similar to Cow.  I'm so sorry he has passed.  He was lucky to find you.
