KitKat has gone from a stray to a spoiled brat. ;)
My husband has been out of town working and I got down to two cans of wet food.
She keeps taking me to her bowl and letting me know she doesn't like this kind.
I can't leave until later this afternoon. I put an egg in it which she loves. She somehow ate up all the egg and is not happy with me.

Oh those kittens... they are so adorable and precious.

Boy do I understand about that. Lilith went from stray to spoiled to full blown princess and diva. She is SO picky. If she is served something she doesn't like, she leaves the table in a huff. She tosses her head, fluffs her tail up behind her and prances off. I get a dirty look so I know for sure that I have offended her.

Sophie is picky too but not as bad as her sister. She gets mad if the food is not to her liking. She will smack the dish with her paw and then jump down and leave the room

Henry WAS my good eater. He has picked up the girls' diva ways. Lately, all he wants is Soulistic Good Karma or Harvest Sunrise. He'll go to the dish, inspect it and anything else just gets ignored.

Who knows what the girls (both former strays) used to eat. Henry lived in a shelter from 4 months to 8 years of age. He ate whatever food was donated. They develop very sophisticated palates very quickly I guess.

My, oh my! I actually love hearing when a starving stray becomes comfortable enough to let you know what they want or need. It warms my heart that they are feeling safe enough and trusting enough to tell you. [emoji]128571[/emoji]

It's funny actually, she has been yelling at me all morning.
She finally gave in and had some dry kitten food. But after every bite gave me the stink eye. :)
She has even nipped at my toes.
I am so glad we took her in. She is very loving. ♡

Don't you love their little personalities?

She'll drink KMR or eat some tuna if you have it while she waits for you to get to the store for a case of her favorite flavors ;)!

That's really funny.  Fluffy has been giving me different meow/chirping noises.  She lead me to the kitchen and the food bowls.  Yeah, not liking the new food.  So I put down the older one and she finally ate some.  Sometimes she leads me to her treat toy when it's empty.  I haven't gotten the stink eye yet.

I was unsure about tuna. But I will give her some. I gave her a little boiled chicken.
She settled down with the kittens finally.
She is weird about water. She will not drink from a bowl.

We had a poster last night who mixed kitten milk and water, which caused the newly delivered queen to lap away! She would only drink from the sink previously - go figure! My cats love the tuna water too!

I have small acrylic glasses that my cats drink out of.   I used to have a pilsner glass on the table for them, they are both large/tall cats but It was a lot of water to clean up when Eclipse decided to knock it over.

I've caught her drinking out of the toilet. I put in a shallow dish and she drank some.
And she came out here and snatched a bite of my son's turkey sandwich. Little stinker!!

Wow! Turkey lover! Actually, she sounds protein hungry. What was it you gave her in the dish?

Sounds like she will enjoy playing with her kittens when they get bigger! My mama kitty was just around a year old when she gave birth in March, and I have been amazed at how much she plays with her now 4-month old kittens. They tussle, play chase, run after toys - she acts like a kitten with them! :)

The vet said ours was right around a year old as well. I really can't wait to see them all playing.
They are 6 days old today lol
Few more weeks to go yet.

Ok, while petting KitKat I felt a lump in her side. Almost like when we first noticed she was pregnant.
Is she just still lumpy from the pregnancy?

Thank you, just checking.
I also had to start the eye ointment again today.
If it comes back we will be calling the vet. I hope I caught it early enough this time.

The ointment will hopefully clear it. Use it twice a day for a few days and see.

I am going to give it a few days for sure.
But I'm guessing the kittens will be opening their eyes soon. I'm just being careful that it doesn't spread.
:(
