Our cat, about 1.5 years old female "fixed", disappeared about 15 days ago.

She is an out door cat, all her life, and tough as nails - the only kitten out of 4 to survive the environment (close to woods) with coyotes and owls and many other things not so friendly to cats.

Today the cat returned home seemingly barely alive.  A little shaky on her feet but she can walk and cry.  If she lives to tomorrow I going to take her to the vet.

Until then do any of you know of treatments or ways to get the cat to eat or at least get some energy into the cat?

If you have some glucose sugar or karo syrup put a little on her gums.  It will go into the blood stream and give her some instant energy,  maybe enough to get her to eat.  Can you get some pedialyte into her.  Syringe feeding her some kmr if you have any or can get some at walmart or a pet store.  You may want to put her on a heating pad to keep her warm as well.

I hope she pulls through.  I wonder if someone trapped her.
