I am sorry to say I have lost my Peter Bee. He was such a good sweet cat. He was 16 years old but it seems like I got him yesterday. So hard going through this. With loss there is severe emotional pain. My laundry room door faces the yard & that's where he mostly liked to stay in his bed taking everything in. I feel for anyone who goes through this. RIP my sweet boy

I'm so sorry about Peter Bee. It hurts so much to lose such a good friend. I hope you find some comfort in knowing you gave him a good home all those years and that he was happy and loved you. I know what you mean about how fast the years together pass - it seemed the wonderful years with my dear Wesley and Milo were over in a flash. With time I hope the good memories can help you in your grief.

I'm very sorry for the loss of your beloved friend. It's always difficult to lose anyone you love. The two of you shared 16 wonderful years together. There's no right or wrong way to grieve. Try to remember all the good times you shared. Some people keep a little box with things like a collar and tag, a favorite toy and some photos inside. When you are ready, you can look at these things to remember your friend. Peter Bee (love the name- very original and sweet!) is over the bridge now and is at peace. He still loves you as much as you love him and he will never forget you either. Hang in there. It will get better. It just takes time. You found the right place to talk about your loss and your feelings. Many people here have gone through what you are going through now and all of us at some point will. We understand.
 RIP Peter Bee

I'm very sorry for your loss. Sixteen years of companionship are a gift, but you must feel his absence very acutely. RIP. Peter Bee. :rbheart:

I'm so very sorry for your loss, there truly are no words that can be said to mend a broken heart, it's a journey everyone must travel alone. Along our life's travels we are privileged to share it with those we choose to love, they occupy a place in our hearts and souls. When they leave us, it is as if they leave a hole in our very existence, and only time helps to soften the pain and the profound sense of loss. Peter Bee spent 16 wonderful years with the one he loved the most, and he will never be forgotten in this world, held and treasured in your heart and memories as long as you live. That is all he ever wanted from life and now he will comfort you with those memories and in your dreams. I'll keep you both in my thoughts and prayers, know you are never alone in your grief, there are many who can share your burden.  RIP sweet Peter Bee, you were greatly loved and will never be forgotten!

THANK YOU ALL. IT HAS BEEN A FEW WEEKS SINCE THE LOSS OF PETERBEE. AS YOU KNOW IT IS AWFUL. HE IS EVERYWHERE IN MY HOUSE BUT MOSTLY IN MY LAUNDRY ROOM. HE LOVED TO HANG THERE BY THE DOOR & BEHIS NOSY LITTLE SELF. THEY SAY WITH GREAT LOVE THERE IS GREAT LOSS. THAT IS ABSOLUTELY TRUE. HE WAS LOVING, SWEET & COMICAL. A TRUE JOY. I HAVE HIS ASHES IN A WOODEN BOX WITH HIS PICTURE ON FRONT. GREIVING IS A PAINFUL THING TO GO THROUGH & I FEEL FOR EACH & EVERYONE HERE WHO HAS HAD A LOSS. LETS JUST PRAY FOR ONE ANOTHER
