I need to get to bed otherwise I'll sleep in and be late for work - which isn't so good because I don't start till noon, but I'm rubbish at getting to sleep.  Must tear my self away from here.   I will be checking in tomorrow, soon as I can though.

Purring like mad in her nest. She kept trying to hide beneath a bunch of junk in the closet but I'm worried it's not stable so my son and I rearranged it and put the nest in that dark corner. Everytime we leave her she comes down and meows until someone comes up with her and then she darts Into the box and purrs a different purr; very loud and short purrs; not her usual soft long relaxed purring. I feel like it's going to be a long night! The kittens feel very palpable; almost like they are vacuum sealed to her, you can feel their whole outline! Kind of odd but cool!

I laid in bed for a few minutes (which is no more than 4 feet from the closet door!) and she came out and is now chilling on her favourite dresser perch again. Sigh. I didn't sleep more than 2 hours last night because I was sure something was happening then. Seriously. We've had this foster girl for 56 days!!!

It sure sounds like she is getting close! Try to rest if you can. She will probably let you know when she needs you. :)

I'm sitting in the closet with her because everytime I leave her she comes out until I look at her and then she makes me go back I. She's breathing fast, purring, I think I feel contractions. I can't see her at all, I have my hand in the hole of this box petting her belly but she's laying on her back, legs spread wide open. It's happening tonight. No doubt now. :) :) :)

Better than Christmas!!! Definitely having contractions. Calmest cat labour award here. Seriously. My hubby is joking that she's one of "those home birth women who wants calm and incense and quiet and candles" lol

Will it likely be hours before I see a kitten? I'm
So tired. I have a pillow on the floor beside her nest now because she will not let me leave the closet. I now realize the vacuum
Packed kittens I was feeling earlier was likely her first contractions. She's contracting every 2-3 minutes. Breathing very fast. Should it be soon? So tired but so excited! Knowing there is only 3 coming, I'm still hopeful that I will get some sleep tonight!

I've seen a few pushes or big contractions. I'm not sure which it is, but I desperately had to pee and doesn't she get up and follow me!! Back in nest now. But I think I threw things off!

Oh, gee! Only a cat could stall labor while her human goes to pee - and go with you at that!

Okay, let us know what happens next!

She's almost in a trance, between contractions, laying still but breathing and outing very fast short breaths. Third eyelid
Is out, it's like she's half asleep. Is this weird? She's almost unresponsive until I call her name then her eyes open again. This is scaring me. How can I upload a video? Or should I stop worrying?
