Can you tell how far along she is?

Do you see kitten movement? Also it's probably around another week or two.

Do you recall about when you noticed that she was pregnant or when her nipples turned pinkish? Or have you noticed movement?

You should set up some nesting boxes for her w/old t-shirts, fleece or flannel.  Set them up in quiet out of the way places.

Bella cat just had 7 babies (her first litter). I'm worried because none of them seem to be nursing. Does it take them awhile to do so?

Oh, wow! That's a lot!

Let us know if all appear healthy. You need to weigh them. They will not all be able to nurse at the same time so you will need to rotate them. I will write more shortly.

@catwoman707

Another litter of nine kittens! :)

Thanks for providing the link.

M mady880841

Please read the full thread up to today and follow ALL of the advice on rotating, weighing, supplementing, and feeding and caring for mom if you want your litter to survive.

Please get KMR powder and a 1 mL syringe ASAP for supplementing, and Udder Balm for mom.

Mom needs to drink KMR in a dish each day, she needs lots of wet food and water, and you can mix a raw, beaten egg into her wet food for extra protein.

Immediately divide your litter and put one set in a box with a heating pad to wait while mom nurses the first set. Switch them every HOUR.

Please ask questions! :)

Every hour right now! She can move to two hours after all have stabilized and nursed a few times today and she has their weights.

I started rotating and it seem to be coming good mama cat gets up every once and a while to check on them. One of the smaller babies won't get its own nipple it's just trying to take everyone else's. What do I do? I will be getting KMR today.

Get the KMR quickly because you may need it anytime. Can you weigh each kitten please? That will help us to give you more specific instructions.

Try to re-direct the one to a different nipple and gently hold him there to see if he latches. He's rooting. If he doesn't latch he needs supplementing.

How are you keeping the ones warm who aren't nursing?

By the way, the rotating will need to go on through the night for awhile. Are you on the one-hour right now?

I'm on one hour. The other kittens are in a laundry basket with a heating pad and blanket. Where can I get a scale?

You can get a scale almost anywhere.  it can be a kitchen scale. If it measures in ounces, get one that measures 1/10ths.  You can get the KMR and a scale at Walmart.

Just a caution with the laundry basket.  The kittens can get their heads stuck in openings and it can be fatal.  Make sure they are covered or blocked off somehow before they become more mobile.

Please check in with their weights as soon as you can.

One hour is good. Hopefully you can switch to two hours before bedtime. You'll have to set a clock.

Do all except that one seem to be well-latched and nursing?

And don't forget a 1-mL syringe from a pharmacy!
