Now, sokoke, alike almost any other breed, is not looks but ancestry. If you dont have good proofs your cat is a sokoke, he isnt not sokoke. Nor bengal mix.
And itsn nothing peculiar with that. Its just a couple of procents of all the cats whom DO belong to a breed, or are fresh mixes thereof...
What you can possibly say about most paperless cats, is if a cat is a look alike of some breed - that is quite common.
And yes, now and they we get convinced a paperless cat MUST be a purebred, even if he hasnt no papers. Yes that happens now and then.
So. my guess is your cat is a domestic. His pattern is classical tabby - not so common, the striped mackerel tabby is more common.
Another names for the classical tabby is marbled or blotched tabby.
