That sounds good:  able to see what's happening and close by but not stressing her.  As long as Gato is caring for the kittens, cleaning them and clearing the cord / placenta and they are breathing and warm this sounds fine.  Good that you can stay with her.

Congratulations! :)

It happens when you least expect it! :)

Sounds like all is well. How many kittens total?

I would not move mom for a bit. Is there anything for the kittens to lie on under the bed?

There's 3 for now, ate the after births and is cleaning and helping them now! I have her a towel, but she doesn't want to use anything. I made nest all over the house. She didn't pick one. I'm going to move them into the closest "nest" once she has them all after a few hours. I don't want them to get cold.

That sounds good. Leave her be for now. A closet in your bedroom with her food, water, and litter box outside the door would be nice.

Do you have a heating pad to set on low to begin warming the nest?

Sounds like she's doing a first-rate job! :)

She just had the fourth one about 10 mins ago. All breathing and looking healthy. All four of them are black/grey. And yes I do have a heating pad already to go, but do I just leave there for her to lay on w/ kittens?

Four! :)

Heating pad goes under the blanket. No one should lie directly on it. And it's really for the kitten portion of the nest. Mama can keep herself plenty warm. And leave space for the kittens to move away from the heat if they feel too warm. But again, wait until she's done birthing, cleaning, and they are nursing well! :)

Yeah, they are all doing well! She went to take a break and clean herself up. All kittens are breathing and moving around. I set up the heating pad on low and put a towel on top.

Mother and kittens are Doing great! All are nurseing. There is a runt, but he is probably the loudest out of them all and he acts as though he won't be "stepped on" by the rest of litter mates.

I'll try to post pics, but it's difficult. Thanks everyone for all the help and advice! I really appreciate it all! This website is definitely a go-to for any cat problems or just to have fun and talk about cats.

So there's a runt in the litter and he doesn't eat as much, he sleeps a lot more then the others and momma cat seems to pay the others attention more then him. He whines a lot. Is this normal? He looks and seems to be pretty healthy tho

Sounds like you have a great momma cat there, well done Gato.
4 kittens will keep her busy but hopefully not more than she can manage.  Keep a good eye on the runt and check this little one is getting fed, stimulated to potty and kept warm in the nest.  You want to see they are all fed gaining weight.   I don't know about the whining, whether it's normal or if there could be something else but hopefully one of the members with experience will chip in here.  At least the little one is making plenty of noise so as to get noticed!

The momma cat will often ignore and reject a kitten if there is some kind of problem as she naturally wants to protect the kittens she has who have the highest chance of survival, it is a strong natural instinct for cat mothers.

He is probably hungry!

Put him to a nipple and make sure he is latching and nursing.

If not, or not enough, you might want to supplement. Have you bought any KMR?

The best course is to weigh him now and each day to ensure he gains 6 to 10 grams a day.

Let us know if you need feeding instructions! :)

He's doing better now. Maybe just getting the hang of things now. Momma has noticed him more and is coming out once in a while to eat and drink. They use the heating pad, but like the mom more for warmth. And thanks guys!

@catluvr101  , have you been able to try the instuctions for picture uploading for mobile phones in the link I gave in post #35 ?  If you still can't upload them, I can see if any of the team who use a phone to post is able to help you - send me a PM if you still need help.
