I was woken up at six a.m. with the sound of a fairly large cat fight. I went back to sleep but when I woke up I made sure to look for my cat Sky. While I was looking I found a lot of grey fur in my front yard. It wasn't Sky's. When I found her I looked her over and found a long scratch on her tail. She let me spray it with peroxide but I can tell it hurts her. I'm worried she might Have a broken tail or something of that sort since she won't lift her tail. I'm going to monitor her but should I do anything else?

Yes, not just calling the vet.. I really think a visit is necessary.  There could be damage and she could be in pain.

Keep us posted!

I agree that a vet visit is absolutely in order.

Ok so today I sprayed the cut with peroxide and it didn't fiz at all witch means it isn't dirty right? Also lately I've been worried about stress. This is probably really hard on Sky getting beat up by the neighbor's cat. I've been giving a lot of attention to her but i'm still kind of worried. As for the vet my dad says it's only a couple of scratches so he doesn't think she needs it. I don't want to make them spend that much money but I also want Sky to be safe so I will wait a few days and see how she does.

Have you asked your neighbor if his/her cat is up-to-date on vacinations?  Cats who go outdoors are exposed to many things. Cats are very good at hiding pain.

I asked and they said that he was fixed. It seems they had no idea that their cat was bullying Sky.

Being fixed and up-to-date with vacinations are two different things.   Are they going to do anything about the problem?  Another member has the same problem and she and the neighbor have worked out letting the cats out at different times of the day.
