Do you have a certain food that you won't even bring into your house because you know you will binge on it?

Crunchy Cheetos are one of mine. I just won't buy them. :lol3: I've got a new one though. Buffalo Flavor Pretzel crisps. My husband is the same way with them. :dk: We have an unopened bag in the closet now that is leftover from a party. We may have to give the bag to someone. :lol3:

What's your binge food?

The artisan type breads with the crust that is almost crispy and a dense large crumb on the inside with butter not margarine.  It didn't used to be a big deal because only certain bakeries sold artisan breads, now even the supermarkets have them.  I will occasionally give in and get one of the small baguettes but I don't dare get one of the regular size baguettes or loaves.

There isn't anything I can think of that I don't bring into the house, but I definitely binge on crackers,. Chocolate is another "must", but something I nibble rather than gobble. :lol3:

Ice cream. I do buy it but I buy it portioned out already and not in a large single container. A pint of Ben & Jerry's and a spoon is a dangerous combination in my house.

Well they're still brought into the house... lol. Ice cream and chips are my weakness.

Oreos.  It's terrible.  Cheetos are another; but I'll get a small bag now and then (the overpriced kind that come with sandwiches).  I really don't buy many cookies or chips because it's hard to eat just a serving.  DH's binge item is SunChips.  We can control ourselves with ice cream and other desserts; but we still end up eating more than we'd want normally just because it's mostly just us eating the goodies around here.

Potato chips. Plain ole salted chips - preferably Wise but almost any will do. Hands down most dangerous.

There's a little artisan chocolate shop in town. I don't flat out binge on their (handmade) chocolates, but I'm dreadful for picking at them if I'm tired. It's amazing how 'just one or two' can mount up over the day :anon: I generally freak myself out, so I try not to get them anymore...but mom gets them for me occasionally, even though I ask her not to  She and dad are a little addicted to them too.

hahaha

For me it's "small snacks" like pistachios, sunflower seeds, almonds, potato chips, grapes, cherries, popcorn! etc.
Skittles, M&M's, small portion candy packets....
 oh darn the small snacks

Cheese, especially shredded sharp cheddar.  A green lettuce salad with tomatoes is an excuse to pour on the cheese!

I always add a lot of cheese to a salad.  I know it takes away from the healthy aspect of eating salad but I do it anyway.  I have quit adding croutons and I have gotten used to using a lot less salad dressing than I used to use.

I haven't really banned any delicious foods from the house.
I love tomatoes and plums and nectarines.  Whole Shabangs potato chips.  Homemade cheese ball with Wheat Thins.  Spinach dip with club crackers.

You mother sounds like a wonderful person!

My mother and I worked for the same company when I was in my early 20s.  She'd come in the office and casually set a bagel from my favorite shop on my desk.  Or a pastry or a sandwich or sometimes a whole lunch that she'd made at home.  I had it so good!
She still brings me a sandwich and pastry from the Farmers Market on occasion.

Oh, this is embarrassing...
My "binge good" is heavy cream, straight from the carton...after its been shaken til the cream has whipped 'just enough'. [emoji]128523[/emoji]

I should be ashamed, huh.

:lol3::lol3::lol3: I'm the daughter of a milkman, so I don't think it's totally crazy. I love all things dairy.

Then we both should be. I've done that, too. How about Reddi Whip? Can to mouth resuscitation?

I'd make the worst vegan ever. I think dairy would be harder to give up than meat.
