So, the options are A) wait her out, eventually she'll need to eat and the food is in the trap (water in a corner), or B) let her go, and try to retrap her again outside.

She's about as feral as they come, moving around in the garage illicits nothing but hisses/spits and frantic jumping up the garage doors.

I'm concerned about her peeing on things in the garage, and there's too much to try to remove. Should I put a litter box in there?

As far as option B, I'm worried she won't ever go in a trap again, and she needs to be spayed. She also has some nasty scarring around her neck where her fur isn't growing anymore, not sure what from.

Ack!

Have you got a pet carrier?  She may go in a carrier with food.  Especially if it is covered up and looks like a good place to hide.  Yes...put a litter box with litter and some dirt over top.  The scarring around her neck is probably from mating...the males biting her neck.

Sorry, you're going through this.  It is a trapper's worst nightmare.

I have several cat carriers but even if she were to go in them, I think she'd escape before I could close the door or even get close. So I have the trap set with food, right by the car because she doesn't seem to want to get out from under the car.

I was also thinking about making a catch pole, but I don't even know if I could get her in the trap or a carrier with that so I'm holding out hope she'll decide to eat the food in the trap.

How about a drop trap and then transfering her to a humane trap.  You can do a youtube search on drop traps.

Someone advised that you could tie a string or twine rope onto the door of a carrier to pull from a distance.  That would require you to camp in your garage which doesn't sound too appealing.  Has she calmed down any?

Good luck with the trap...she just has to get hungry enough.

I don't have access to a drop trap, maybe I can find a net of some kind... but she's still hiding under my car. She definitely won't come out while I'm in the garage.

No luck so far, going to give it another day and cross my fingers.

She's trapped again successfully! She didn't want to move out from under the car, so I put some tuna water in a dish and slid it under (instead of just water) to whet her appetite, and put solid tuna in the trap.

Just found her, she ate all the tuna but left the canned food entirely alone. :) Appointment for her tomorrow morning, hooray!

She also used the litterbox, placed as close to the car as possible as well, so no messes to clean up.

Congratulations!!!  Keep us posted after the vet visit. Hope all goes well.

Good job...another feral female retired from breeding.  Thank you for helping her.
