I don't personally know anybody who wants a kitten or even Likes cats. I don't want to post on Craigslist I'm scared of fake ppl who buy kittens for reptiles and dog training......I live in Jacksonville Florida. Can I post on here somewhere?

I don't blame you for being wary. I would suggest calling a rescue organization who may be able to put the kittens up for adoption? How old are the kittens now?

3 weeks. Almsost 4. Most places near me say they are full and cannot help me. humane society wanted $100 per kitten and medical check up $45 each in order to "take them off my hands" not even get them a home right away just to take them

Geez ... How many kittens do you have? They are too young right now, but good you are looking. They need to be 8 weeks - preferably 12 to be re-homed.

My vet's office has a bulletin board to post a picture and info for giving/selling kittens and puppies. Sometimes the vet techs know folks who want kittens.

What about asking at a local church or church camp?

Knock on your neighbor's doors to ask if they have friends who may want a cat.

Continue to brainstorm for more options.

Whatever you do, please do not give them to animal control. They will put them down.

You have got some good answers from SARthur.

Here you are yourself giving the key to screen off the worst weirdos.

These you mention are predating on the "Free kittens given away to good homes".   As the payment for laboratory kittens and kittens for snakes is typically about 20 dollars, so whatever you do, demand some payment or donation, preferably more than these 20 dollars.

A nice trick is you spay the kittens, and thus, demand return for the spaying...  Two flies at once.

The only exceptions for this donation or payment is, if you know the new owner personally, and know they are great animal lovers who will receive the kitten as a precious, highly valuable gift.

Observe, many people thinks, what is for free, is in practice worthless, so demanding payment - in money or service - is for them making it worthwile.

Ie, its sometimes easier to SELL the kitten, than give it away.

Good you are planning already now, because they shall to their permanent home as earliest at 8 weeks.  As said earlier.

If the rescues use foster moms and you are willing to be the foster they might help find homes.  Lots of the rescues aroung here are limited by the number of foster homes for the cats.
