Hi guys, I could use some help evaluating the quality of food I'm feeding my cat. She's on a diet of primarily wet food with a little bit of dry food on the side (mainly to cover any potential nutrient deficiencies in her wet food).
In regard to wet food, I've been trying to find something without grain or meat by-products. So far, the only product I've found that's readily available is Whiskas canned food. The ingredients on the can read as follows:
Meat including chicken, lamb and/or beef and/or pork and turkey; gelling agents; colouring agents; flavours; vitamins and minerals; taurine. No preservatives added.
Do you guys know if these ingredients sound healthy? I'm not experienced with cats and their diet, so any feedback would be great.
Also, if this stuff isn't healthy for them, could you guys recommend me healthier alternatives that can be readily purchased in Australia? Thanks a lot!
