Good Morning

First question.. can i pet her she wants loved so much.

A cat has found me again, orange and white tabby very friendly lady..  She is very skinny I can put one hand around her and you can see her bones, she is kept, she takes care of her self, her hair is very thin and there is hardly any hair on her tail.    I gave her some hard cat food and she wouldnt eat it.  I looked at her and she is missing many of her teeth, I gave her kitty broth and she ate three of the pouches (not the chunks)

Currently I have a cat (again another that found me and she had children) plus I have have a free range bunny in my house. I made her a house outside with a pet carrier and a large towel,  I am feeding her wet cat food and she is eating it like crazy.  I am afraid to bring her in to my house in case she is sick as i don't want my cat to get sick

Here is the question what do I do now,   How long will it take her to gain weight, what do I do about her teeth, what type of food do I give her, at what point do I take her to the vet, (I feel the vet will not treat for anything at this time due to her lack of weight.)

Thank you

Give your vet a call and check.

The cat needs to see a vet immediately for treatment. The vet can determine if she needs medicine for worms or parasites or infection. Once he gives her a clean bill of health, you can safely bring her in.

This poor cat has been leading a very sad, stressful life. She sounds starved, both for food and love. Please give her plenty of both. She will eventually put on weight. And you can pet her for sure. Wash your hands afterwards just in case, but she needs affection.

You are very kind to take care of her! Is she sleeping in the pet carrier?

Let us know how it goes!

Bless you for caring about her!  I would get her to the vet as soon as possible.  In the meantime, bring her inside and keep her in solitary confinement in a bathroom, laundry room, or spare bedroom.  Set her up with a litter box, feeding stations, comfy bed, and toys.  Feed her small meals throughout the day (maybe 4-5 times a day).  With proper nutrition, her fur will fill in and she'll fill out.

She's most likely riddled with parasites (worms) and fleas.  That's why you don't want to expose her to your resident pets.  Treat your resident pets for fleas now as a preventative, if you don't already treat them regularly.

Do you have pics of her you can share?
