That is a great story! I am so glad that deserving people got something done for them.
We had one around here recently that just made my blood boil, and I wanted to slap this guy that did it.
These 2 crack ho's were out smoking crack and prostituting, mother and daughter, and left a total of 11 children in a 1 bedroom trailer, unattended. The place burned, killing 6 of the kids, and injuring 2 others. The mother was arrested for leaving the kids, and turned out she had warrants for all kinds of stuff all over the state. They took her to the kid's funerals in cuffs. Some local do gooder bought this piece of crap a 4 bedroom brick house, and paid the bills and groceries for a year.
This woman should be in jail! Somehow all the charges miraculously disappeared. There are so many hard working people actually deserving of this kind of break, and it certainly wasn't this woman. I have seen her out walking with her daughter, prostituting, and still smoking crack. The least she could have done after a break like this was straighten up and try do be a decent human being after being given a whole new life for what amounted to murdering 6 kids and maiming 2 more. They gave them back what was left of the kids. Some were hers, some the daughter's.
