Hi I don't see where I can post something new so I clicked on the thread that was most similar to mine. My cat had some vomiting and after spending hundreds of dollars at the vet they told us it was either feeding issues or they would need to do an x ray. They weren't much help and told me to follow directions on the can which was awful advice because the cans say to feed the kitty as much as she would eat. My kitty can easily down a 3 oz can at one meal. We tried this and used wellness and blue buffalo sensitive for kittens. A while later she vomited a ton of food and was sick and heaving the next few hours. Since then we changed to only blue sensitive canned. I tried dry food and she ate so fast she started choking so now we spend a fortune on wet food uncertain if the problem is type of food or amount we give her or both, I suspect both. Now I limit her portions but she begs for food all day long. She was 2 lb two weeks ago and up to 6 oz day total with me administering it in small doses. She still is so very hungry and begs for food all day. It's heartbreaking and the constant meowing and begging really grates our nerves. I don't get any feedback from my vet so I'm guessing I got the one kitten on this planet with these complicated feeding issues. So is blue sensitive 6 oz day enough or does she need more? I would be willing to give her more even though it is really expensive. I want to put her on dry as soon as possible to count down on cost because it's just as good for her, should I administer a little at a time because she seems to choke on it? I also see her make a little vomiting gesture if I feed her more than 1.5 oz at a time. I have never seen a cat like this before

You don't say how old she is, but up to at least 6 months old a kitten should be fed as much as she wants. The problem can be that a feral or stray cat/kitten will often eat much more than they need because they do not realise that there will be another meal coming along in a few hours. So they make themselves sick by eating too much too fast. With ex-feral cats I give them little and often until they calm down.

The other thing might be worms. Has she been wormed? Did the vet go into that idea? That can often make a cat eat too much and then vomit.

I would not feed too much dry right now - wet is actually better for her, and the dry is more likely to get stuck in her throat if she eats very fast.. As she is vomiting there is a danger of dehydration, too, and eating dry could contribute to that.
