Sharpest pill cutter?

I need a pill cutter with the sharpest blade available for quartering crumbly tablets.  I've always had trouble getting a clean cut with prescription meds, but herbal tablets are thousand times worse.  (Why must holistic treatments always come in horse pill sized tablets that disintegrate if you look at them sideways?? )  

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!  

Because the active compounds in herbal tablets are much, much less concentrated than synthesized, extracted medications. Have you tried using a plain old razor blade? The thinnest are usually the double edged ones for refilling old razors, but I'm not sure the logistics of holding the blade while cutting the pill. Or, you can get some small gelatin capsules and a mortar and pestle, powder the pills and re-pill them in the capsules.
