My cat constantly nibbles at the cat grass plant we have. She is an indoor cat and was often sick once or twice a month. We got the cat grass to help her so she could be sick quicker if she needed to. She constantly nibbles on the grass but isn't being sick. Is that normal?

Ok. I was told by the pet shop that it will definitely make her vomit but she doesn't. In fact she seems to be happier and healthier since she's been eating it

Sounds just fine to me. Lots of cats like to eat grass even if they're not having digestive issues. My Ingvild Solveig loves to chew on the wheatgrass plant I got for her.

I can't stop my cats from eating grass - it's one of their favourite things to do! They will vomit up the larger bits, kind of like a big hairball mass, but if they chew the finer grass then they tend to pass it the other end.

I think my cat was vomiting less when I had some grass for her to nibble on. Then the vet told me the barbs on the grass could be irritating her digestive tract so I stopped, and her digestive issues are worse than when she was pooping out scratchy grass. She also loves barleygrass powder and spirulina powder. Some cats just like eating plants. (Another cat I had would steal broccoli... just plain, boiled broccoli, no salt or butter or anything.)
