I am sorry to take up so much space today. I need one piece of advice, thanks for your patience.

If I do not get Wisner the nausea shot, she will surely die soon. If I get it for her, she will also surely die soon. The shot may or may not prolong things a week, two weeks, a month.

What would you do? As I said, this is wearing me out. I've lost weight over it. I and my other cats are suffering because of the care this one cat requires. And yet I love her.

I would go ahead with the shot, then you will know you did all you could to comfort her and will not have those 'should have, could have' feelings later. Don't worry at all how much 'space' you take up, what good is this site if it can't help a fellow cat lover? I know in my nursing experience that at the end of human life, they often stop eating too, this is not a bad thing, after a while there are no more hunger pains, in fact no pain at all. Continue to comfort and love her, that is all she wants from the person she loves the most. You are doing the best you can and that is all she needs, please take care.......

I'm so sorry.  In addition to what Di and Bob said, can you tell us what she is dying of?  Has she reached the point where it would be better to help her through this by letting her go with the help of your vet?
