25.- ¿ How do you meet at your Wife, partner, couple, etc, I mean the person who are you spending your life...?

I met Dear Richard at a neighborhood sledding party. I was 12 and he was 16. His family had just moved into the neighborhood and he came outside to see what we were all doing. And the rest was, as they say, history. I didn't marry the boy next door; I married the boy right up the road. 

I met Tom online.  Not on a dating site.  We were both involved in a forum dedicated to a specific online game we both were playing.  There was one thread which was basically a "get together and talk about anything" kind of thing.  We got to know each other by each other's writing and finally decided to meet in real life.  Was an instantaneous attraction which we both tried to ignore as I was coming out of a long term marriage (I was already out the door more or less) plus he lived in another state not easy for us to see each other much.  Being aloof lasted only a couple of months.  He wound up moving up here to be with me   

7 years later, still going strong.

We lived on different floors of the same university dorm.

We had a couple mutual friends and because of that started attending the same singles group/Bible Study.  (The group disbanded because most of us got married.  )

I met my SO at a car inspection station.  Here in NJ we have to get our cars inspected every two years.  We were both standing waiting for our cars after being inspected and we both had on the same baseball caps, St. Louis Cardinals.  We started talking about our team and one thing led to another and we've been dating ever since. 

I did my husbands taxes 20 years ago.

I met  him in a bar

That was nearly 40 years ago. I was out with a friend and that was a last minute idea to go to this certain bar she had heard about. It was late, but he asked me to dance and thenwe spent a long time in the parking lot talking. We've had our ups and downs but we are still together and doing okay.

I met my boyfriend at school in uni. I am a forever-late person, so I would peek my head into the classroom and there was this dude near the front who would signal me to stop or come in when the teacher wasn't looking. He would also let me know if the class was a repeat or the professor was not worth entering. 

After a while, we became such good friends it was uncanny, as if we just were meant to know and support each other. We'll celebrate our 8th anniversary together this coming August
