I have three kittens out of a litter of five that still need a home. The problem is, no matter where I take them, there's no telling what could happen to them. Shelters all seem two sided, either they outright say they WILL euthanize because there's no room, or the no-kills are so underkept, the kittens would most likely die of ill health anyway.if they stay where they are now, they'll be releases out into the country, and that's an equally cruel fate. I'm literally worrying myself sick over these little ones. I guess call it a mommy complex, but I can't bear to think they could be in danger, but I'm running out of time to find he's before they are thrown outside. The kittens are about 3 months, no shots or fixing, and I'm around the Fort Worth area. I've already given one a home, on top of my two old boys, otherwise, I would keep every one of them myself.

Have you tried contacting friends or vet offices to see if anyone is interested in a kitten?  Social networking is a great tool to help.  Just be sure to not give them away for free.  Charging a fee will bring those that are really interested.  Also please insist that the cats are all spayed/neutered?  I wish you luck in finding homes for these wee ones.

How did you come upon this kittens?  Is there a momma kitty somewhere?  I hope that if so that she is now spayed or once again, more kittens will appear.

I have tried friends, all fell through or lost interest, social networking did not work either...mom is spayed and back outside, but the kittens are still in their one room. I am charging a fee of 25, low because I can't afford to give them all their veterinary care.

Also, mom and kittens belong to a friend. Mom showed up in December and 3 months later she had kittens. The friend's parents unfortunately believe that cats are meant to be exclusively outaide, so that's where the kittens are headed if I can't find homes, there's no shelter for them outside and they have THREE cat chasing dogs, one of which is known to go for killing.

Can you possibly get them now and take them home? Put them in a spare room or a large dog crate?  then see about putting fliers up or trying to look for a rescue? I'm worried for them.

I have found homes for kittens by printing up a bunch of flyers and putting them in my neighborhood's mailboxes.  I also use this method to find owners of lost cats.  We have about  40 homes in our housing development.  It is great exercise and a good way to meet neighbors and other cat lovers.
