My cat just had kittens they are 3 weeks old yesterday.. Tonight they were out walking with mom and she started making what I can only describe as fart noise mom ran over she started having runny stool but when mom was cleaning her up I noticed what looked like blood not in her stool but like she was pushing so hard her rectum bled? I took mom and kittens to the vet last week and they said they were all doing good .. Any ideas what it could be??? Is she ok?

It's common to have blood in the stool when a kitten has a parasite like giardia or coccidia and in addition to that the kitten probably has worms as almost all kittens do.  I would call your vet and discuss at what age you can begin de-worming, and if you bring them a stool sample they can test for parasites, and advise you on treatment which is fairly straight forward.

3 wks u should get them deworm sometime parasites can cause serious diarrhea and can possibly be fatal. kittens are very unstable  and fragile before 12 wks of age, if anything less than solid stool comes from the kitten u should keep close eyes on them.  once the diarrhea progress kittens can be dehydrated really fast and sometimes there is no way to stop it
