I am confused. What did she buy to feed it ? Full fat goat milk is fine if she can't get KMR. Do you have a syringe?

The kitten must be held tummy down, head up as though feeding from mom. You put a drop or two in the side of the mouth, let the kitten swallow and breathe, then go again. Make sure the kitten stays warm while feeding. Wrapped in a soft cloth and placed on the table on its tummy can work well. The kitten must not inhale the formula. If it does it will get pneumonia and die. So feeding is slow and careful.

Do you have a kitchen scale to weigh each kitten and record the weights? This way you know if the kitten is gaining weight. It must gain between 6-10 grams per day.

I will write more about how to potty the kitten in a moment, as well as how much to feed at each feeding.

After each feeding, each kitten must immediately be stimulated to go potty. You must tap its bum gently with a finger, or gently rub with a warm, damp cotton ball to stimulate it to go pee and poo. It cannot do this by itself yet. Also, to aid digestion, give it a little tummy rub. You can also rub down its head like mama would when licking it.

They don't have the right milk, they have bottled kitten milk (ie whiskers)

You need to ignore people in shop Sarthur2 knows what she is talking about DONT GIVE THEM THE KITTEN MILK IT WILL MAKE THEM ILL

Ok. Your wife is wrong - I'm sorry. The kittens need Stage One kitten replacement - not the one she bought for 6 weeks to 12 months. They need newborn formula or goat's milk - no cow milk.

They cannot have cow's milk, but they CAN have goat milk - full fat.

Your cat probably wants her kittens back. Show them to her in the box. Let her see where they are. You can see if she will nurse one again. But not if she is aggressive. The ideal would be if she would be nice and nurse them. Supervise her with one to see.

Possibly. Are you near enough to pay a visit to try to ascertain what's what?

He said the mama cat is going nuts, but was attacking kittens before. It would be ideal if she would nurse them. Not sure what's going on. Don't know if these folks realize the commitment in hand-feeding 4 kittens around the clock every 2 hours.

For whatever reason your cat is rejecting her kittens. It is a big job to hand rear kittens. We have a woman on the forum with a cat who just gave birth. She will foster your kittens for you for a few weeks. She has sent her phone through personal message. I suggest you do this for now.

A foster mama cat is ideal for about 4 weeks. They can come back when they begin eating on their own. Mom's milk is best, and she cleans them up too. Please give our forumite a ring to discuss this possibility.

Otherwise you will be feeding 4 kittens every 2 hours around the clock - seriously. For a good 3 weeks. I still need to tell you how much to feed. Then potty. You'll need to weigh them as I mentioned. Please let me know your thoughts.

Also, you need to get your cat checked at the vet to make sure there is nothing wrong with her.
