Three weeks ago, we noticed my cat was pregnant. Her stomach was swelling and her nipples were pink and prominent. Today I got home from work and there was nasty yellow and red stuff on the ground. I took my cats temp which was 99.7. She keeps grooming herself all over and shes so big. Is she going to have her babies soon?

There are some articles at the top of the forum with lots of info re: pregnancy.  I think the cat loses her mucas plug a couple of days before birth, other signs are dropping when the kittens near the birth canal and the cat will look thinner.  ppl also report loss of appetite and many trips to litter box.

@lillollypop  's cat just had kittens.  Maybe she could give you some tips.  You will need to set up some nesting boxes in quiet out of the way spots for her to give birth in.

Patience! Cat pregnancy averages 65 days. If you know when your cat mated it is easier to figure out when she's due.

You mentioned one week ago in your original post that you noticed her nipples had pinked up about three weeks prior. This generally occurs at around three weeks of pregnancy. Therefore, based on information you have provided, your cat is approximately seven weeks pregnant. If all of this is indeed correct, your cat is around 49 days pregnant. She has about two weeks of pregnancy remaining, give or take a few days on either side for not really knowing for sure. :)
