So my little miss naughty was hanging around a couple of mischievous males around 4 weeks ago. Once I realised I tried to keep her in as much as I possibly could but she's a minx and snuck out a couple of times. A house mate said he caught her and one male doing the dirty but he's not really a reliable source shall I say so I can't be a hundred percent. I was sure she wasn't as I hadn't seen any change in her for the first 3 weeks but this last week she's just been acting a little strange.. Eating a lot, sleeping in unusual places, a little restless. To me she looks rounder but I don't know if that's just because I'm worrying but her nipples are a little pink? any advice/help would be greatly appreciated!
these photos are of any weight difference she may have gained? First one is 2 weeks ago and second is today which isn't a great photo and she isn't spreading out today like she usually does? (Also strange behaviour for her!)

All signs point to pregnancy. The forum has many great articles on pregnancy and kittens at the top of the page. Feel free to ask any specific questions. Please consider having your cat spayed after this litter. Welcome to the forum! :)

Belle is in her nineth week as of yesterday, I'm just a little concerned about how dry her nipples have become & whether enough fur has come off from around them? She's getting little 'boobies' which I'm guessing is normal?

Yes, this is normal. Her mammary glands will swell as her milk comes in. You can put some olive or vegetable oil on her nipples if they seem dry. They look accessible for nursing. Either she will lick off more fur or it will come off during nursing. :)

So tonight Belle has been super restless, I've just noticed she has a little bit of kind of thick yellow liquid coming from her private area.. She keeps trying to lick it but her belly is just too fat! I know I could just be wishing labour upon the poor girl but I'm a first time kitty grandma and I just want everything to go smoothly! Start of labour? Or am I just imagining things haha.

Help is needed! I have 5 very adventurous 5 week old kittens that I'm trying to litter train! I have introduced them to a litter tray after waking up and after eating a couple of times (hard to do all the time when your working full time [emoji]128553[/emoji]) and I have found a couple of poops in there but they are still pretty insistent on pooing and especially peeing in my wardrobe (which was their birth place/home for the first 4 weeks). They go in the litter tray, scratch about, squat & then NOTHING! Grrr, so frustrating! Any tips? Shall I move the litter tray in to the wardrobe? Or just keeping going with what I'm doing? Mummy cat pees & poos outside only (she was mortified when I made her use the litter box whilst she was kept in before she had them [emoji]128514[/emoji])

I would indeed move the kitten pan into the wardrobe for now since that's where they like to go. After they get the hang of it, and they will, you can slowly move it outside the wardrobe.

Has mama cat been spayed yet? She'll be pregnant again soon otherwise since she's going out.

Try adding more litter trays. Kittens this young sometimes can't find the litter tray fast enough and poop/pee where they are. You should clean your wardrobe well (including nutrializing the smell of poop/pee, because it will draw them back) and put another litterbox in the wardrobe just so they know they should use that instead. They will get it really soon, it just takes a bit for them to get used to and to be able to find it :) You are doing well!

Thank you! I feel like it's a losing battle. They are so strong willed it's like they just want to do as they please haha. Mummy cat is booked in to be spayed next week now the little ones are mostly dependant on solid food rather than her. I will add the extra litter trays & hope for the best. Fingers crossed they get it soon!

Sorry to be a pain and post so many questions but I now have a 7 week old kitten who keeps getting poop stuck half out of her bottom? She has quite long fur so I thought it was just stuck to her but on closer inspection I had to coax it out with some warm water and lots of cotton wool! She then had diarrhoea for the day and now back to a poo stuck half in her bottom! Any ideas on what the problem could be?

It sounds like she may need more water in her diet. Try mixing a little water into her wet food. You can also add a few drops of olive or vegetable oil to the food to help with constipation.

When she has diarrhea you can add a spoonful of plain, canned pumpkin to her food. Cats usually like it.

If you are switching food brands frequently it can cause tummy upset. Best to stay with one brand for now.

Also, have your kittens been wormed yet? That can make a difference as well.

Thank you, will try the pumpkin as the diarrhoea seems to be around to stay today. All five kittens have been on the same food and fine, but now only two of them seem to have diarrhoea. Haven't wormed them yet which I thought could be a factor so I will do so tomorrow and hopefully see a change.
