Hello, I'm new here.
I adopted 2 new kitties about 4 wks ago.
A girl Tabby/white, about 5 yrs old.
A boy Orange Tabby, about 18 months old.
My girl turned out to have a raging ear infection, plus s polyp.
I had the polyp removed 8 days ago. Upon the check up this past Tuesday, the infection was still very bad and the vet cleaned her ear again and placed a stronger med inside, a steroid, anti biotic, anti fungal med.
Today Missy had an eye problem, third eyelid swollen and dripping discharge. Same side as the ear infection. She was fine till yesterday.
I brought her to the vet as an emergency, the vet who did the surgery wasn't in.
The other vet in the practice suggests it's Horner's Syndrome. He was very pessimistic, . suggesting she'll be like this permanently. Telling me to go to a Neurologist or eye specialist.

I am worried/wondering if this could be from the male cat jumping/rough housing with her. They aren't completely getting along. They weren't friends, I just adopted them at the same time from the same rescue.

Missy seems worse tonight, I am picking up eye drops tomorrow. She's uncomfortable.

I just would like opinions and helpful points.
I would love just support. This all comes on the heels of losing my 16 year old cat this past November . After a long illness. I feel overwhelmed.

The cats have been fighting/playing rough . He's obsessed with playing/jumping on her. I've never had cats that didn't get along before. I'm afraid Missy got hurt somehow by Johnny and the Horner's is a result.

Thanks in advance.
