Cats' poop pale after switching to wet food diet?

Hello there... I've been searching all over to try to get a preliminary understanding of what might be going on with my cats, and am having trouble getting an answer. We have three cats - ages 10, 8, and 6. Back in February we switched them over to an all-wet-food diet, since we understand that's a better option for them. Previously they were eating a grain-free dry food, but now they eat Canidae grain free wet food, the chicken-venison-lamb variety ala: http://www.canidae.com/cat-food/grain-free-pure/can/pure-elements-chicken-turkey-and-lamb.

Since switching them over, we've noticed some changes. The 10 year old (an american shorthair) was a bit overweight before, and she's slimmed down a little bit since switching foods. The 6 year old (maine coon mix) has lost maybe a little weight. And the 8 year old (an abyssinian mix) was always a tiny thing before, a little underweight, and she's gained a little bit of weight since the switch -- but it seems like a healthy thing. They pee a lot more now (better hydrated I'm assuming), and their poops are now less frequent and they stopped being so horribly stinky, as we were told would happen with a wet food diet. But, here's the thing I'm weirded out by: one by one, all of their poops have become a very light tan. Not the rich, dark brown we're used to. Just, this kinda very light tan. They're well formed, not loose or greasy. Just a different color. It's weird.

Searching around online about this symptom leads to some pretty catastrophic answers, and given how otherwise healthy they all seem, I'm pretty confused. These cats don't seem like cats with liver failure -- their coats are healthy, they're energetic, none of them have really dramatically gained or lost weight. Could there be another reason those colors would blanche? Are they absorbing their nutrients the way they should? What is going on?

I'm just not sure if this is cause to take them to the vet, or if I'm just overly nervous because google always gives the worst possible prognosis. Thanks for any help y'all can provide.

(I should also add: the change in their poop color has definitely correlated with some changes we noticed in the wet food's production a few weeks ago... The Canidae wet food was a lot firmer and browner before, but a few weeks ago we noticed that the consistency was a lot looser and sloppier, and much pinker in color. What? Is this a sign of something really wrong with the food production? What's happening?)
