just joined today

a couple pictures of my best buddies, Hobbes the tabby, and Yin Yang the tiny tuxedo ball of fury (and furry), who I sadly had to say goodbye to about 6 months ago.

I'm sorry to hear you lost your cat, he was gorgeous.

Thank you, seems like a great community of cat lovers. The one i lost, Yin Yang, the tuxedo, was a she. I really miss her, but she was a really good friend and I tried my best to give her a really good life. I found her as a kitten on the street in downtown Dallas. She was pretty small to begin with and only ended up being about 5-6 pounds full grown. I fell in love as soon as i saw her, it was pretty obvious she wasn't a true stray, I'm pretty sure someone abandoned her. I posted a bit about Hobbes earlier in the health section.

Also, while Hobbes has been generally doing just fine since I had to say goodbye to Yin Yang, I've recently been thinking of recruiting another companion, both for myself and Hobbes. (because 2 cats are always better than 1).  In which forum would it be appropriate to discuss bringing a new cat into a home with an existing cat?

Oh two cats are definitely better than one! 

I think behaviour would be the best thread for talking about how to introduce a new cat.
