Horny cat

My cat is ALWAYS in heat. She had kittens a few years ago, but they were sick with Rhino & didnt survive. Ever since then, my poor Malacai has changed. She's always in heat, rolling around, spraying & getting into lewd positions. I think its a behavoral connection to the loss, but I cant afford to spay her now. Will spaying her even help?

Thanks! I hope it does. Does it matter that shes 3 years old? Ive had some people say it does matter because theyve already experienced being in heat , & I can see why they would think that, but I dont agree.

Her age has no bearing, being in heat is a very uncomfortable time for her. I do believe is she could talk she would ask you to spay her and give her some rest.

Spaying will help. I just got Midori spayed a little over a week ago and she is a year old. It was always a problem with money trying to get her spayed and since she has NEVER gone outside I didn't worry to much about it. Well she began going into heat every 10 days or so, began urinating around different areas of the house (including inside my backpack all over my books that cost me enough to replace!)Her behavior started getting bad also. My boyfriend basically told me if the urinating didn't stop I would have to get rid of her. I scheduled the appointment the very next day. Since I got her spayed she has not urinated anywhere but in her litter box, her behavior has calmed down and she is soooo loving now. She is always cuddling up with me. I was very suprised by the turn around, and am very glad I finally got it done.
