About a month ago, i fumigated my house, and i posted her about my cat having rapid breathing while lying down. my vet told me to watch her and if she didnt improve to take her in. her breathing calmed down the next day, so i didnt end up taking her. Shes eats a lot like always. lol She plays with my other cat elsa, and is normal and active.

But, Ive been watching her closely, and i have noticed that when shes walking about the house and lays down to rest. that i can see her belly moving. She does not pant when this happens. when shes resting for awhile on her cat tree, i can only see her belly move a little bit.  So its mostly when shes most active that i can see her belly move. I uploaded a video. What do you guys think?

----

Note: Im trying to avoid taking her to the vet because her last visit a couple of months ago was extremely stressful, she got a UTI. She freaked out so much they had to sedate her. You could hear her howls and meows throughout the entire vet office.
If shes sick I will obviously take her, but only if its necessary, you know?

I don't know, it's tough to say, but she seems fine there. Kind of looks like she's purring. My cats breathe fairly quickly and I thought it was normal.

How old is your cat, and has she been spayed? Is it possible that she could be pregnant?

That's a great idea.  When I first saw it,I thought she was breathing a little fast, so I took a look at MY cats.  First one I couldnt see him breathing at all since he's a long hair, so i put my hand on him, and sure enough, he started purring and his rate was fat.  Then when I found another cat  he immediately started purring and his rate was fast!  The other one is sleeping in a cat carrier, so i can't tell

Can't hurt to ask the vet. Let's hope she is just a happy, purring kitty! :)

This would make sense, because i was petting her right before i recorded this video.

Thanks for taking the time to help me out by checking with your own cats.
