Just picked up a new lamp for our family room. Been looking forever, but finally found one that works. Kind of hard to see it in this shot, but it fits perfectly.
Very pretty! And I love the cat statue!

Thank you. I picked up the cat statue on one of the islands on a cruise. It was hand carved and I just love it.
Both the lamp and the cat statue are really nice.
I'm sitting here wondering how many pets ago we gave up on table lamps! :lol3: I think it was some time back in the 80s.

We have one table lamp; it's back in the bedroom on a bedside table. That's our only one anymore. The others all crashed to the floor many, many cats ago.

I guess we've been lucky with lamps. I think we lost one years and years ago due to a cat accident. We've never had any problems since. When I look at lamps I am always picking them up to see how steady they are. We've seen too many that are wobbly to start with. Now I'm looking at all our other lamps and wondering if I should change them. We've had our lamps forever and some of them are really outdated and out of style.
