Lost a friend last night

I just received a call from a friend at work who let me know that a good friend passed away last night. Nancy was in her late 40's and we do not have word on what happened to her. I'm sitting here stunned.

For those that purchased the cookbook, Nancy contributed the Amaretto Stone Sour Punch recipe - I even mentioned that this is the recipe as she gave it to me - I guess she is a small part of TCS. If you make that recipe, please give a cheer to Nancy - she would appreciate it a lot.

Nancy was full of life and a gutsy woman. Please send Nancy's family healing board magic over the holidays.

Thanks all. We are going to miss all the formal services over the weekend (we'll be out of town), but her friends are going to get together in early January to hold our own memorial service for her. We're putting together a memory album to give to her family. I'm sure we'll make her punch and toast her larger-than-life wit.
