Last night we were cutting the cats nails, she freaks out and gets really stressed when we do this.

When we were done she flew downstairs(we were locked in bathroom)

Two minutes later, my daughter noticed "poop" on the floor.

My other cat isn't feeling well but he is having loose diarrhea so Iam pretty sure it wasn't him.

The pooh not to be gross was super thick like a hairball(that is what we thought it was) and wasn't super brown.

Hairballs cant spell like poop can they?

I am sorry this is detailed.

She never pooped on the floor, don't know if she was scared or it was something else.

Thanks

maybe it was throw-up, not poop?

i have one cat who is an occasional puker, and that's what his vomit looks like - light/tan brown, sorta chunky with not-totally-digested kibble bits......

Hmm, it could well be poop. One of my cats is quite skittish and can freak out about things. He once got caught in the handle of plastic bag, ran around in terror and pooped himself. Also, only a few months ago, I was cutting his nails. He doesn't like it but usually tolerates it. This time he was super squirmy and when I let him go and stood up a poop fell off my lap!! So I wouldn't be at all surprised if your cat pooped while being freaked out about something.
As for the hairball question, I've seen a few that you can't quite tell if it's poop or vomit. But they didn't smell like poop.

What do you do with a kitten with diarrhea. I've had her since May 20th. Recently notice she can be in my lap and have some leakage. She eats a small amount of canned food in the morning and IAMS kitten food. Doesn't seem sick otherwise.
