Same food every day

I'm used to rotating different flavors and brands with my cats, all canned. I have one guy though who won't eat anything other than shredded chicken. So my question , Is it good that a cat eats the same thing every day?

It is ok unless the brand goes out of business, has a recall, he develops an allergy to it, or just starts to refuse it, as we have all experienced. This is why we rotate.

Exactly this.  I also have one cat who is so darned picky he only likes one thing, and they recently had a slight formula change.  I was frantic that he wasn't going to eat it.  Luckily for both of us, he still likes it, but in the meantime, I try to get him to eat other food by slowly adding another food into his beloved food.  Sometimes he will eat it, other times I end up throwing it out and starting over again   It's frustrating.  At least my little guy also likes dehydrated Stella and Chewy's.  Unfortunately, he only likes it dehydrated.
